1. Smelly Drains
Obviously, in your kitchen or bathroom there are plenty of things that can cause your drain to smell. However, if your drain smells continuously and for a long period of time it could be an warning that your sewer line is blocked or damaged.

Obviously, during some months you may use more water, for example on your garden during the summer. However, if you have an unexplained rise in your water bill when you aren't expecting it then it could be a sign that something is wrong.
